  • Unit Profit: Net profit per unit sold (CNY), after deducting all costs and fees
  • Profit Margin: Net profit as a percentage of revenue, measuring profitability (20%+ is excellent)
  • ROI (Return on Investment): Net profit as a percentage of total cost, measuring capital efficiency (30%+ is excellent)
  • Break-even Volume: Minimum sales volume needed to cover fixed costs. Below this volume means operating at a loss

1. Sales Revenue (CNY)
= Selling Price (local currency) x Exchange Rate x (1 - Return Rate%)

2. Total Costs
= Product Cost + First-mile Shipping + Amazon Commission + FBA Fee + Ad Cost + Return Loss

3. Unit Profit
= Sales Revenue - Total Costs

4. Profit Margin
= (Unit Profit / Sales Revenue) x 100%

5. ROI (Return on Investment)
= (Unit Profit / Total Cost) x 100%
